Grace Groups
What Are Grace Groups?
Intentional gathering of 6-12 Advent members who commit to regular meetings for the purpose of becoming better disciples of Jesus Christ through:
  • Loving One Another ("Share"): community building, fellowship, and sharing
  • Loving God ("Learn"): Bible study, prayer, and worship
  • Loving Others ("Serve"): serving Advent and/or the larger community
  • Grace Groups covenant to explore all three areas, but one area gets a stronger focus.
How Does a Grace Group Start?
Once enough members (4-6) are interested and a leader is trained, the group decides its focus, makes a covenant, and starts! Advent hopes to help new Grace Groups get started every 6 months – as long as members are ready & willing!

Where/When Do Grace Groups Meet?
Anytime/Anywhere the Group decides! The covenant is only for 6 months, but can be renewed. Advent only asks that each group meet at least 2x/month and at least 5 out of 6 mos.
