Advent’s Chancel Bell Choir has been bringing special music to the congregation since the fall of 2000. This choir brings a wonderful approach to our music ministry.

The 11-13 member choir plays 5-octave music using 4-1/2 octaves of Malmark handbells and 4 octaves of Malmark handchimes. The handchimes are always used to play the lower ½ octave of the 5 octaves. The Chancel Bell Choir performs for the congregation once a month during the school year, and practices once a week on Monday nights at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

The choir plays a variety of music types, mostly between Level 2+ to 3+ in difficulty. We also take the bells on the road to perform for special groups such as the Good Samaritan Rest Home. We are always interested in having new members join the group. No experience is required. We will teach you all you need to know.
